This is my training schedule for the LA Marathon in honor of my Mother which consists of the following:
Week 30 - The time has come!!!
5/25/09 - Los Angeles Marathon - 26.2 miles
Week 29 - Marathon Week!!!
5/24/09: rest & pasta dinner party
5/23/09: last team practice - light 3 miles - carbo-load
5/22/09: rest & carbo-load
5/21/09: 4 miles - carbo-load
5/20/09: rest - begin carbo-loading: Carbohydrate loading, commonly referred to as carbo-loading, is a strategy employed by endurance athletes such as marathon runners to maximize the storage of glycogen in the muscles.
5/19/09: 5 miles
5/18/2009: rest

5/17/09: cross train - surf
